Beauty Tip Of The Week:

Microneedling

What is it?
Mircroneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a treatment where fine surgical needles are used to penetrate the skin leaving behind tiny puncture wounds which stimulate elastin and collagen production.
Numbing cream is applied to the skin before the treatment making this a painless procedure with little to no downtime.
Microneedling therapy often involves the application of serums such as growth factor or even PRP (Platelet rich plasma) immediately after the treatment to further enhance the results.
You can expect slight redness, similar to sunburn immediately after the treatment but this usually subsides within a few hours.

Why we love it?
Microneedling can be a great treatment for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, skin tone and texture.
We saw immediate results following our treatment with the eclipse micropen and growth factor serum.
Four to eight treatments are usually recommended to see optimal results.
Brighter, tighter skin with smaller pores and a reduction in pigmentation means this is a holy grail skin treatment for us at PSF HQ.
